Annual Sports Fest

Role of sports in building the personality of students is extremely vital as it prepares the student to become versatile and face the challenges of life.The Annual Sports Fest ‘Abhyuday’ is the major sports event celebrated every year with huge zest in KMGS. Students of Kanha Makhan Millennium School participated with much enthusiasm in the Sports Fest ‘Abhyuday’.The event was flagged off by a lamp lighting ceremony which was joined by the heads of Kanha Makhan Groups of Schools. It was followed by unleashing the colourful balloons in the sky. The event commenced with the Torch Relay by teams of all the participating schools. A spectacular Parade and Martial arts was performed by the students of Kanha Makhan Millennium School at the opening ceremony of the sports event. Further students from Foundation to grade XII participated in an array of sports including 100 m race, 200 m race, banana race, zig zag race, discus, shot put, kabbadi, volleyball, tug of war and many more zestful sports.

Balloon Activity

Experiential learning is an engaging learning process where students “learn by doing” and by reflecting on the experience.
Kanha Makhan Millennium School believes in EL as pedagogy to make learning a technical knowledge that goes much beyond the classroom and seeks to bring a more engaging way of learning to make learning outcomes deeper.
Students performing EL activity in the lesson “Properties of Air” for better conceptual understanding proving through activity that air has weight and air occupies space.

Halloween Fest

Kanha Makha Millennium School celebrated Halloween’s Day with a fun filled exciting way.
The haunting music, the dim lights, pumpkin lamps, scary cut-outs, hanging demons adorning celebration hall worked well to create an atmosphere of eerie all around.
Keeping in mind the popular tradition of Trick-Or-Treat and the spine-chilling setting of Halloween, Children put on the costumes of Demon, Devil, Ghost, Monster, Skeleton, Vampire, Warlock, Cat Woman and Witches.
Students with interesting costumes and makeup transformed the school into a spooky environment.
Costume Competition was organized for the students in various categories such as “Funniest Costume”, “Best Haunted Make-up”, “Scariest Costume” etc. Students ramped walk on the stage parading their costumes and make up. Winners of costume competition was awarded with certificates and trophies.
Students enjoyed the staging of scary stories and dance performances. Theatre club students staged a play depicting the horrors of carelessness and inspired to be alert all the time.
The event was organised to help students pursue education in a fun-filled manner and encourage them to appreciate differences in cultures and customs and also to make them aware of global festivals and values. In all, it was a day full of fun and excitement.

Inter- Branch Badminton Tournament

Inter- Branch Badminton Tournament in Kanha Makhan Millennium school
Sports is the platform that brings out the best and lets the sweat do the rest to prepare a sport person for the upcoming challenges. The competition stimulates every student and opens the door of growth and development.
Amidst the electrifying enthusiasm and excitement, Inter-Branch Badminton Tournament was held in Kanha Makhan Millennium School for Boys and Girls in “Singles” and “Doubles” category.
KMMS Team grabbed 6 Gold medals and attained first position. KMPS Saraswati Kund team stood runner up bagging 4 Gold medals. It was a healthy competition which was relished by all and motivated others.
Director Sir Mr. Lalit Agrawal congratulated all the participants. . He emphasized on the sportsman spirit. He mentioned that sports inculcates team spirit, positive and competitive attitude and ultimately creates on overall developed personality.

BEHES DEBATE

An Inter-School Team Debate Competition (BEHES DEBATE) was held at Kanha Makhan Millennium School organized by BEHES on 30th and 31st October, 2022.
Every Behes tournament is a celebration of ideas, with students exploring a wide variety of topics and critically examining them. The endeavor was to develop a child into a competent rational thinker who would communicate with confidence. The free-flowing debate format encourages the growth of research, collaborative and analytical along with oratory skills.
Every topic given was a challenge for speakers and they geared themselves suitably for their turn to debate on. 32 teams from 7 reputed schools of Mathura and Agra participated in the competition. The contestants were divided into two groups- The Lions (age group 14-18yrs) and the Cubs (age group 10-13yrs). This tournament was conducted in our campus under the supervision of Behes Team members Mr. Salil & Ms. Muskan.
It was a moment of immense pride when our students won multiple awards at the debate.
Mr. Lalit Agrawal, Director congratulated the winners and lauded the efforts of BEHES team.
Mr. Pramod Sharma, Principal appreciated the anticipation of all the participants.

UNITY RUN

The country celebrates the Birth Anniversary
of Sardar Vallabhai Patel on 31st October as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day).
In line with the celebrations countrywide, a throng of activities were organized in Kanha Makhan Millennium School all through the day celebrating “National Unity Day”.
The special assembly to mark the National Unity Day programme saw students participating with enthusiasm and taking “RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS PLEDGE” to strive for the country’s progress. The speeches and poems by the students articulated and reflected life journey and the beliefs of Sardar Vallabhai Patel .
The digital exhibition titled ‘Sardar Patel – The Architect of Unification’ was shown to students exhibiting the life and contributions of Sardar Patel.
Students participated with great enthusiasm in UNITY RUN spreading the message of peace and unity. The National Unity Day reaffirms the inherent strength and resilience of our people to withstand threats to the security, unity and integrity of the country.
The whole day celebration ended with every heart filled with pride and every mind resolved to contribute to India’s glory.

Hindi Storytelling

Storytelling has been proven to help develop a sense of empathy as children are encouraged to put themselves in the position of the story’s teller. Through storytelling, children are encouraged to listen to others. Storytelling provides children with a window to the new worlds. It gives them the opportunity to learn new ideas and information; without realizing it they are learning valuable life lessons through hearing an engaging and exciting story.Kanha Makhan Millennium School believes that these kind of activities provide a platform to the future orator.
