KMMS TRIP TO KIDZANIA NOIDA

In continuation of our endeavour to expose school children to different experiences for their overall development, Kanha Makhan Millennium School organized a fun filled educational trip to KidZania, NOIDA for the students of class V on 24th March,2023. The students at KidZania participated in various activities that stimulated their creative thinking and boosted their self-confidence. The activities offered a truly unique experience and an interactive learning opportunity for students, developing key skills like – Psychomotor, Cognitive, Emotional, Social and Language Skills. KidZania is a Global Indoor Entertainment and Learning Center that emulates the workings of a real city built-to-scale for kids. It is a safe, unique, and interactive kids play zone that aims to empower, inspire & educate kids through 60+ fun role-play activities.

KMMS Jaipur Trip

The Kanha Makhan Millennium School embarked on another milestone journey through its three days educational tour to Jaipur for class 6th and 7th students from 21st March to 23rd March,2023. The trip was special and unique in many ways as it was conducted through teaching and learning on-wheels. The tour was flagged off on 21st March from school campus. The champs were taken for the sightseeing of Albert Museum, Jawahar Circle , Ganesh Mandir Moti Dungri, Birla Planetarium and many more worth visiting places. Students had an amazing and exciting visit to Zoo, Amer Fort, and Jal Mahal. The students at leisure also went to Hawa Mahal, Kanak baag & Janter Manter. After three days excursion i.e. on 24th of March, students returned back with a collection of wonderful and exquisite memories.

KMMS Mathematics Day

The logic and calculation in Mathematics encourages every student and ensures that every problem has a solution.
To celebrate and remember the birth anniversary of Legendary Mathematician Ramanujan on 22nd December 2022, Kanha Makhan Millennium School celebrated National Mathematics day. Students honored the contribution made by Ramanujan to Math through different activities.
The celebration included a tricky quiz competition based on PPT, poem recitation, rap on Math, dance performances by students showcasing the life journey of Ramanujan and Yoga poses displaying different angles and shapes like acute and obtuse angles, triangle, rectangle, square and more. Students of grades 5th to 11th also participated in Rubik’s Cube competition and solved the puzzle within a time limit. Here are the glimpse of the activity.

Inter-House Hindi Debate

It is vital for students to express themselves succinctly and learn to give meaning to their thoughts to build new ideas. Debate gives the opportunity to discuss, describe and display new ideas in a way of healthy argument.
An inter-house Hindi Debate competition was organised in Kanha Makhan Millennium School on the topic “समाज में अपना वर्चस्व बनाये रखने के लिए दिखावा जरूरी है”. The competition was extremely enthralling with invincible arguments presented by the teams.
The competition was won by Pegasus House along with the best speaker award bestowed to the candidate from Cygnus House. Here are a few glimpses of the competition.

Monopoly

Gamification is a strategy for increasing engagement by incorporating game elements into an educational environment.
Gamification is a learning strategy that offers a more engaging and immersive learning experience.
The main goals of gamification are to enhance certain abilities, increase of engagement, learners’ retention, knowledge and cooperation.
Kanha Makhan Millennium school adopts Gamification as a pedagogy that goes much beyond the classroom and seeks to bring a more engaging way of learning to make learning outcomes deeper.
Class VII students in Maths period enjoying the game of Monopoly strengthening their subjective knowledge for the lesson Lines and angles , visualising solid shapes & class 10th students revising the content of previous units. It enhances the learning experiences.

Electrostatic Force

With the change in trend in imparting education to students, hands-on experience is much more effective nowadays. To increase students’ capability to observe and adapt new skills Kanha Makhan Millennium School conducted a Science activity for grade 5.
The activity focused on the concept of Electrostatic force through which students practically learned the concept of non-contact force with the help of scale and paper in the classroom. This activity was a very interesting and joyful way of learning about the concept of Electrostatic force. Here is a glimpse of the activity.
