First day at school
With the onset of the new academic year, school welcomed the students with a new vigour and resolution. The students were encouraged to participate in an activity which motivated them to save the environment. The World Environment Day was celebrated supporting the Go Blue Campaign and set up an innovative way to capture the interest of the students. The soft board in the class and the welcome boards were decorated with sea creatures and were designed to engage children in an interactive task. The students had to solve a jigsaw puzzle with the hints given on a particular sea animal along with its scientific name and classification. They also had to identify the sea creature and add facts about it after some research work on these creatures. Primary soft boards displayed messages on ‘Say no to plastic and beat plastic pollution’.
