Mathematics: “Mathematica” addresses widespread math anxiety by showing math is a vital universal language, not just procedures, aligning with NCF 2023.
The formal education system, as outlined in the NCERT framework, will be followed. It reduces anxiety, fosters deep understanding through CPA pedagogy, develops 21st-century skills (Thinking, Collaboration, Communication), promotes real-world applications, connects to other disciplines, introduces modern applications (data science, computational thinking), and ultimately empowers students to view math as a discovery and an opportunity.
To achieve profound conceptual understanding and confident application through a three-stage CPA approach, starting with concrete experiences, moving to pictorial representations, and finally mastering abstract manipulation of concepts.
Social Studies: “Socialia” addresses the common perception of Social Science as mere memorization by demonstrating it as a living subject that builds awareness, empathy, and critical citizenship, in alignment with NCF 2023.
The formal education system, as outlined in the NCERT framework, will be followed. It transforms Social Science learning into a meaningful exploration of history, geography, political science, and economics as interconnected disciplines. The pedagogy reduces rote dependence, fosters inquiry-based learning, and builds 21st-Century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and effective communication.
It promotes real-world application through case studies, field projects, and debates, while connecting to contemporary issues like sustainability, climate change, governance, diversity, and global interdependence. It also integrates modern tools such as GIS, data interpretation, media literacy, and civic tech, empowering students to see Social Science not only as knowledge of the past and present but also as a guide for shaping the future.
To achieve profound understanding and confident participation, a progressive three-stage approach will be followed:
Concrete Experiences (role-plays, simulations, field visits)
Pictorial/Contextual Representations (maps, charts, infographics, timelines, documentaries)
Abstract Understanding (theories, principles, and analytical frameworks).
This approach transforms Social Science into a discipline of inquiry, reflection, and responsible action, ultimately empowering students to become informed, engaged, and empathetic citizens.
English: The Language of Expression and Imagination
“Language is the road map of a culture. It tells you where its people come from and where they are going.” – Rita Mae Brown
English is often perceived merely as a subject of grammar and memorization; however, it extends far beyond, serving as a medium of expression, a gateway to imagination, and a bridge to global understanding. In alignment with the NCF 2023, English is re-envisioned as a dynamic discipline that fosters creativity, empathy, and effective communication, equipping learners for both academic excellence and real-world engagement.
Rooted in the NCERT framework, English instruction transcends mechanical language learning to integrate literature, communication skills, and critical appreciation as interconnected domains. The pedagogy emphasizes inquiry, reflection, and curiosity over rote learning, facilitating the development of 21st-century competencies such as creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and confident self-expression.
The curriculum is enriched through purposeful engagement with stories, poems, plays, and contemporary texts, cultivating sensitivity to diverse cultures, human experiences, and ethical values. Real-world application is reinforced through public speaking, debates, creative writing, drama, and media projects, thereby connecting classroom learning with experiential understanding.
Contemporary tools—including digital storytelling, podcasts, film appreciation, and AI-assisted writing platforms—are seamlessly integrated, enabling learners to navigate evolving modes of communication while appreciating traditional literary richness.
A three-stage progressive approach ensures comprehensive learning:
Concrete Experiences: storytelling, role-plays, dramatization, and experiential activities that animate texts.
Pictorial/Contextual Representations: use of visuals, multimedia, mind maps, and creative presentations to contextualize meaning.
Abstract Understanding: analysis of themes, symbols, literary devices, and linguistic theories to cultivate analytical depth.
Consequently, English transcends its role as a mere academic subject to become a voice of identity, a lens for empathy, and a tool for transformation. It develops reflective thinkers and articulate communicators capable of appreciating the richness of language while influencing the world through words that inspire and empower.
